I'm not even sure how i stumbled onto this site, but makezine.com had this really amazing article on this laser sketching that they're doing for powerbooks, and i found it really fascinating.

I'm not sure if you can see this image or not, because its just a little blue box on my computer, but if not the website is
www.ry-z.com. I just bought this computer arts magazine and this artist, Ryan King, is from New South Wales, Australia and his work just really caught my eye. In the magazine he talks about how he taught himself illustrator and photoshop and basically learned all his skills from reading tutorials out of the magazine. I thought that was really cool because his stuff is really interesting. It combines a picture and he uses digital media to drag part of the picture into either curvy lines or straight ones. I could definately see them being in a magazine someday in the aspect of selling clothes or something.
